A bush break {part one}.

A few months ago...Wicount, had the most amazing deal...one that a few of us could not resist. In fact I know about seven separate couples who all bought the same deal, including our BFF's. So, it was a no brainer that we were going to go together...except...at the last minute, work commitments kept my hubby at home...boo.

So, I become the third wheel, and the three of us headed out to the Waterberg for two glorious nights in the African bushveld.

We hit the road last Sunday morning...stopping off in the thriving metropolis of Modimolle {love that name...makes me laugh}...for a quick bite to eat.

And then it was the last stretch into Limpopo...where we finally reached our destination: Bushmans Hide. Our home for the next two nights...

My room...

After settling in...we spent the rest of the afternoon...swimming, sipping on cocktails, exploring, watching game at the waterhole, playing board games...and then headed to dinner.

The perfect end to the start of an awesome few days....
