Better late than never.
So after bravely facing...*what we think*...has been the coldest winter in Jozi...and after living in our house for over five months now...we finally decided to try out the fire place...yes...we are clever like that...
The reason it took so long? Well...we were too scared to be honest! The last time we lit a fire inside a house...it didnt end up that well...
On Saturday, we decided to give it a go...
Needless to say...a fire has been going non-stop in our house ever since...in fact as I type this, I can hear the crackling of the fire...
We are in heaven....and have a new favourite spot in the house. This little house of ours, is truly turning into the best decision we have made...

We have a fire every night too - i just love it. the lounge is so darn cosy i find it difficult to leave and go to bed. And of course all the animals are stretched out in front of it too.
Oh I love our fireplace, it's the best thing to warm up the house, nothing beats it!
