meeting kylie.

So on Monday, I got the call I was anxiously waiting for. My blogging friend Kylie was in town...all the way from Texas.

I literally stumbled across Kylie's blog one day while I was blog surfing. She had written a post that I could have written myself, so I decided to leave a comment. Turns out Kylie had spent time living in Namibia, and had been to South Africa. So of course we have been reading each others blog since then.

And on Monday I got to meet her....

Her and her family are out here on a mission with her church, and they had two free days in Joburg. And she managed to squeeze me in for a quick cup of coffee, and I got to meet her family as well {bonus}.

Kylie, thank you so much for taking time out of your trip to see me, it was awesome meeting you and your amazing family. I appreciate it more than you know.
Next time, it will be in Texas ;-)

Yay...so it is possible to actually meet our blogging pals abroad. I would give anything to get all my blogging buddies in one room at the same time...can you imagine the blast we will have:)

How wonderful.

I just love hearing stories of how we are all meeting up!

Just shows that it is so possible to have real friends inside the computer!

It was absolutely my pleasure and one of the highlights of my trip!

We have been back in Texas a couple of days but we all have the flu :( so I've been in bed! As soon as I get over it all, I'll be blogging and excited about my trip again! :)

Next time, absolutely, you must come to Texas!! I have no doubt we would be in real life friends if we lived in the same country! :)
