Yip, I tried my best, I really did, but I could not help myself. I brought out some of our Christmas decorations...just a few and it's not like it's the tree, it's just a few things that I can put up immediately. Here are a few...

Trying to hold out till the 1st, that's when we put up our tree...think it's gonna be difficult.

Hayley- First, thank you so very much for the comment on my blog! I try to remember that no matter how much I worry... God is the one in control and I cannot change the plans he has for me! It really means alot the words that you wrote on my blog! Thank you for being a good friend and giving me your advice! I trully appreciate it from the bottom of my heart!
Secondly... love your christmas decorations.. I have been looking for a cute wreath for above my fireplace to hang on my mirror! Love yours!! I have been buying some new stuff for our house too! Hard to not buy a few things for myself:)
Thanks again!

Why not, right! I think that the Christmas season is entirely too short. I break out my decorations the day after Thanksgiving while everyone else is out shopping. Although this year they may come a week earlier since we have the new house. It will take me longer to find the "perfect spot" for everything. I'm getting so excited thinking about it! I may just play a Christmas carol...lol.
Mmmm, I was just waiting for you to confess that you could not hold out any more. I think we need to check with Francois about how many Christmas carol cd's are in the car already!
Thanks for sharing the excitment with us.
I thought it wouldd not take long. You are a always just a fraction behind the shops with their decorations and those have been starting to appear. I'm glad you get so excited about Christmas. You better warn Santa that he has to run past the window again this year or do you have another plan for this year. I think there is possibly only one person who gets more excited about Christmas than you Hayley, and that's Devon.
Oh man, awesome goodies you got there....cant wait to see you do your thang come 1 Dec!
hey they are cute and red, love it!!! i'm sure you'll be able to hold out, we do our the day after thanksgiving, so I dont have that much longer!! Heehehe! Loveee the blog, I'll be back! LA
Hey Heather, how exciting moving into a new place.
I must admit, I wish we had thanksgiving here, I thinks its an awesome celebration.
Hey Keith, you know me too well :-)
Hey Mark, mmmmm....not too sure about that. Must admit its a lot more fun with kids around though.

Oh no, Christmas!!! Aah! No time!
Hey Kitty, can you believe it, this year flew by!
Why not start? Have a dinner party for friends and make a turkey! Or a Tur-Duck-En (Turkey/Duck/Chicken)LOL...
What a cool tradition...it doesnt have to be based around the history of it all (pilgirms/indians) but rather what you are THANKFUL for! My family always starts off dinner with the things we are thankful for this year.
Just think of all the new decorations you could buy!!!
Heather, brilliant idea (you know my husband is gonna kill you), any excuse for decorations....AND ANOTHER EXCUSE TO GET ACROSS TO THE US TO BUY THEM....Brilliant!!
You dont by any chance have a good recipe for pumpkin pie?
Ya know...I just use the recipe on the back of the can of pumpkin!
Nothing fabulous, sorry. But stay tuned to Diary of DG...pie time is coming soon!
Hmmm... I'm really not into Christmas this year - well I love who it celebrates, but not so keen on the malls, boney M and crowds...
Maybe I should hang around blogs like yours to stop feeling like Scrooge....
:)
Hayley -
I like you, but my wife will LOVE you. She's all about putting Christmas stuff out early. I'm always carrying on about, "Oh, come on. Not too early. We'll be tired of it by Christmas." And then she says, "Tired of it?? Never!!"
Oh well, it is hard not to get excited about Christmas!! :)
David
Hi love. Knew you wouldn't wait too long. When is the rest going up? Can't wait to see you both. Francois don't forget the Santa Clause outfit for Devon and Adam and ..... everybody else! Love mom
