It's funny how quickly you also forget though. Once I was at the office, and had calmed down from frustration, I realised, "okay so an hour ten minutes is okay, if my car was a bit faster I might be able to get it done in an hour"...you see I am already justifying in in my head...until tomorrow morning of course!
Anyway, being in Joburg is good, the company's new offices are really nice, I am looking forward to working there. Don't think the scale is gonna like it though, there are about a thousand awesome restaurants, in walking distance from the office. But I think the walking will balance out the eating right? You see I am doing that justifying thing again...oh well.
Off to celebrate my nephew, Kyle's birthday tonight. Happy Birthday Kyle!

I`m gonna get your blinkers, so the restaurants don`t attract your attention...
What a long commute! My drive is anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. The only brightspot is that half of it is through the mountains so there is no traffic and the scenery is wonderful...the last half though...is not so fun.
Well, good luck at the job and have a great time with family tonight.
Ive heard the traffic is FAR worse in Jo'burg than in Cape Town. Which is funny cause i always feel 30 minutes is too long to be stuck in traffic in Cape Town...Lol...
Enjoy your nephews birthday.
Ps, I hope the "Rude Awakening" thing doesn`t mean you actually listened to that nonsense?
There is nothing I hate more than "formula radio" and 94.7 EPITOMISES that.
94.7 SUCKS!!!!!!!
Ok, with that off my chest I can carry on.
Good night
Oh God, yes, Jo'burg traffic is the pits. Down the South Coast we hardly have that problem except in season.
PS: Is Francois your hubby or a friend?
kitty cat, I believe the correct answer is... both... :)
Hey Heather, your comute sounds like our one down here in Cape Town, you might be stuck in traffic but the surroundings are beautiful...in Joburg..not so much.
Hey Brazen, thanks for commenting on my blog!
And the thing with the Capetonians is that they complain endlessly about the traffic...I feel like taking them all to Joburg for just one day.
Hey KC, yip he is the husband!
Hayley - thanks for the comment on my blog. I am enjoying Twilight so far. I think i need to read more before i can fully explain how I feel about it. the writing style is good and the characters are great. Hope you enjoying your copy. Let me know what you think when you are done :)
Well if it is any help, it took me 2 hours to get to work today. Frackin' killin' me. Normally it's a 45 minute drive, not today - painful.
Things happen faster in your neck of the woods than mine, and that is saying something. Enjoy all the newness!!
hey Kevin, 2 hours! Okay my one hour does not seem to bad then.
As for the fine dining establishments, just remember this one word: moderation.
You can go to those places...just keep it under control. You can do it!
I believe in Hayley!!!
Peace.
