So since we made the decision to move back up to Joburg, we have decided to use every last weekend (okay there are still quiet a few to go) to get out and do all the things we had planned to do. You know, nothing major, like popping in at all the little shops and restaurants. I mean it's not like we will never be back, but I want to make the most of living in this beautiful place and not go back and regret not doing some things when we had a chance.
So this morning, Francois ran a 10km race, up in the vineyards that surround our town. He did so well, I might add. We then headed off to Craig's Eatery. We must have passed this place a million times since we have been here, so today we decided to check it out. I am so glad we did, it is unbelievably beautiful. You sit along the banks of a little river. Took some photo's for you...
I then dragged (yes, literally dragged) my husband across the road to the Country Craft Market, that happens every second week here. Another first for us. It was really nice, the best part is that it is really well organised and the criteria for selling your stuff here is strict, so there is no junk. Ironically, it was my husband that landed up buying stuff and not me.
We spent the rest of the day relaxing at home, waiting for the rugby to start. Our team is not playing, but we so don't want the Bulls to win. Go Sharks!
Tomorrow is our nephew Devon's 4th birthday party, it's the first one I am gonna miss. But from next year we won't be missing any birthdays...yay for us!
So, just another Saturday, hope you had a good one too.
