Being a Working Girl_No.1

I love being a working girl, I really do. I love that I work for a huge corporate company, I love everything about it. However, that doesn't mean that there are days, and there are plenty of them, where I get home exhausted, that the whole corporate life just becomes too much...and I would do anything to just leave it all behind, and just do nothing.

So every now and again, I have to remind myself of what I love about this rat race that I am in. And for me it's the little things, the little reasons {besides the pay cheque} that make it all worth while.

Here is reason...
After work drinks. There is nothing like leaving the office, and completely unwinding with a quick drink {in my case, an oreo milkshake...yip}and lots of laughs, at one of the many cool places we have around Joburg.

And while I haven't done this in a while...I plan to do this a lot more often. .

I'm glad you love working. I, on the other hand, don't like after work drinks. Take too much time away which I can use on other things.

I love the idea of ending my day with an oreo milkshake. I must be honest and say that I could never work corporate again. I like being my own boss.

I always think it's good to be grateful for the big and small things. No matter if you're a working girl or stay at home mom or whatever.

Love it! Having kids just pulls that balance off though - having after works drink becomes an admin nightmare. So enjoy it for now

For me, I cant wait until those after work drinks. When you message me at 10am to say let's go for tea, it's exactly what my day needs!
