Christmas Day.

Christmas Day turned out to be pretty perfect. It followed the exact same things we do each and every year, for as long as I can remember...and that's what it was pretty perfect.

The morning started off very early...with complete delight, as we discovered that Santa had indeed been there. There are very few things better than seeing the faces of little ones on Christmas morning...just magical.
We each got our turn to open presents...I love that it takes forever...we all get to enjoy each others gifts.
And of course...each and every new thing had to be tried out immediately. And lots of love and thanks goes around...
And then, while the boys headed to the beach, the girls stayed behind to set the table. This year we decided to do something completely different...and turn the table into a Christmas candy wonderland. We loved it.
Then when the boys arrived back, the cooking started...we then just relaxed and took it easy...
Lunch was as it always is...a traditional hot Christmas lunch, with all the trimmings....and then some.
We spent the afternoon, doing pretty much nothing...expect for taking a long walk around the suburb...
And Christmas night was spent eating leftovers, Christmas cake and candy...
...and to make sure we ended it of with a little bit of magic...sparklers!
It was truly a perfect Christmas...

From us to you...we hope you had a pretty perfect one too...
