Keeping SA warm.

What started off as an innocent little tweet, has now morphed into a massive annual event...an event too collect as many blankets as we can...because while we might be living in Africa, it sure gets damn cold here in Winter.

Last night it was once again time for the annual Twitter Blanket Drive. With sixteen venues across southern Africa, one of them happening in Zimbabwe...we made sure we would be supporting our home town, Benoni. Our local Mugg & Bean handed out free coffee to anyone bringing a blanket...

Here are a few pics of the awesome evening...
Tweeters, non-tweeters, local celebs, local businesses and just ordinary folk all showed up and contributed...this is what I love about this country, when the call goes out for help...we answer.

To the awesome Samantha Choles...well done lady...it was an awesome night, you can be so, so proud. And to the lady who started it all...the one and only Melanie Minnaar...who I lovingly refer to as
'my person'...another job well done.

Till next year...here's to keeping South Africa this Winter...

Awesome pics! (and not only because I'm a fan of Benoni).
What app/programme did you use for the placement of images? Love it
