...on a month long holiday...to visit our family in Auckland, and to see the sights of Hong Kong.

With so much happening over the past few weeks, the enormity of this trip only hit me yesterday afternoon...my husband will be seeing his sister again after seven years...just thinking about makes me want to burst into tears. We are so going to make these weeks count.

And of course, this trip would not be possible without the assistance of my amazing parents. Dad, Mom...thank you for helping us too do this. It means more to us than we can ever show you. You give us so much, and you just keep on giving...

In order for us be away for such a long time, we have given up spending Christmas with our family down in Cape Town, and I will be missing not only my Sisters birthday, but my Mom's 60th birthday...and none of them have complained once...in fact, they  have nothing but supportive. Too my entire family...thank you, thank you, thank you...we love you endlessly. And too my Mom and Sister...we will be celebrating your birthdays across the oceans...Happy Happy Birthday!

So folks, that's it...we are on our way...

...we are off to have the time of our lives...

Wow, hope you have an amazing time! Went to hong kong and loved it! The shopping is amazing! If you get the chance, go to the ladies market (its quite well-known) and really great!

Enjoy your holiday.

A pity Auckland is quite far from where we live otherwise would have been nice to say hi!

Enjoy the sunshine of New Zealand! Do you plan to travel around other parts of N.Z? Hopefully you haven't spent all your money shopping in Hong Kong!
