Auckland_Day 5: Devonport.

And it's still raining. But just like yesterday, nothing was going to stop us from heading out.

From our first trips to New Zealand, one our favourite things to do was to head out to a little maritime village, situated on Auckland's North Shore...Devonport. It's a picture perfect little town...
So, I was super excited to be heading back there again. And while nothing much has changed since we were last there...it's still so pretty.

At the harbour...
View from Devonport across to Auckland....
Lunch at Manuka...which looks very similar to our Manuka...
On the way home, we stopped off for ice-cream in Mission Bay...
And we ended the day off with the most divine chicken soup...perfect way to end a rainy day...

PS. Let me quickly introduce you to the other two members of the Joynt family...George and Twinkle...
We made friends today. This is huge...I don't do cats...but these two...I kinda like...a lot.

Stunning photos. Awww, the cats are super cute! Devonport was one of our favourite places to go to on weekends when we still lived on the North Shore.
