A bush break {part two}

I started off the second morning of our little bush break...sipping on a hot cup of tea on my patio...now this, I could get used too.
Followed by a quick breakfast on the deck...and then a morning of sun, swimming...and plenty of reading...
And then, one of the highlights of the weekend...was a scrumptious picnic lunch...right in the middle of the bush veld...
We then headed out too look for game on quad bikes. But what we were really excited to see were the Nguni cattle, that roam freely among the other game on the farm.
Oh...and this is what you look like after an hour on quad bikes in the bush... gorgeous...
We endED off our last night watching the sunset over this special place...and sitting around the fire for a good 'ol fashioned braai...
This was my first time in the Waterberg...and although at first glance, it seems pretty much the same any other bushveld area in South Africa...there's something different. Yet, I can't quiet pit my finger on it. There's a sense of endless space, the skies go on forever...it truly feels like you are a million miles away from anywhere.
It just feels special...
