3 nights in the 031 {part three}

....and day three was just as busy....

Started off with breakfast at a little coffee shop, Sprigs. Anointed, by the queen of all brownies, Kerri, as the best brownies in the land...
Stopping too take in the view around parts of Durban...
Then a quick stop off to view the magnificent Valley of a 1 000 hills...how beautiful is this continent...
I even made everyone stop to take pics of some of Durban's streets...
And without taking a breathe, it was off to our next stop on our jammed full agenda: Ushaka Marine World. And this Jozi girl, was giddy with excitement. I have been dying to go there since it opened.  And I loved every bit of it, even the maddening crowds...
We decided to spoil ourselves and have lunch at the spectacular Cargo Hold  restaurant...where you can dine with sharks. It's set inside the stern of The Phantom Ship...and it was without a doubt one of the many highlights of our weekend...
And of course, no trip to Durban is complete, until you've paid a visit to the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The stadium is really incredible, and totally dominates the Durban skyline. We truly have beautiful stadiums in this country.

And then just when we thought we were done for the day...we decided to make an unscheduled stop at Craft Trattoria. I have been reading about this restaurant in so many magazines, so I was really chuffed that we got to stop there.
We had time for a quick swim in the pool...
For our last night in Durb's we headed to Florida Road, and had dinner at Spiga's...
Such a great place, with the most amazing atmosphere...

When then spent the remainder of the evening up and down Florida Road...popping in to Wakaberry's for dessert, looking at the shop windows, all decorated for Christmas....and just soaking up the Saturday night vibes...
...stopping to enjoy the Christmas lights...
Seriously, one the most fun days ever...Durban..I am in love...

PS. I think this could be the post with the most photos ever...
