Market on Main.

Yesterday, was a grey and wet Sunday....just the way I like them...

So we decided to hit the newest market in Jozi...Market On Main.
The market is set in the Joburg CBD, on the east side within the Maboneng Precinct. It's housed in a warehouse that dates back to the early 1900's and its all part of rejuvenating the inner city.
I have been working in the Joburg CBD for over ten years, and seeing it slowly being rejuvenated to its former glory makes me so happy and excited. I love this city...there's something about it, you just can't explain it...so spending a Sunday morning walking its streets...is indescribable...it feels like you are in another country all together.

So...I thought I would show you some scenes from a market and a few streets right out of the heart of the golden city...
Such a fun morning...in a city I love, love, love...
And thanks to the market...I have a fridge full of real farm made butter, duck liver pate, homemade breads and soups...mmmm...yes, it was a good day.

That looks like a fantastic outing. We did quite a few rejuvenation projects in the Joburg CBD and they are so rewarding.
