A day with our boys...

I think I might have mentioned this just a few hundred times on this blog...I love being back home. And every now and then I get reminded again....

On Saturday, we got to babysit all three of my nephews...okay make that two...one just happens to be seventeen years old, so he would die if I mentioned that I babysat him...in fact, I think he probably does more of the actual babysitting than TF and I...we seriously have no clue what we are doing. There were a few times when we kinda just looked at each other and both went "I don't know"...but we gave it a good shot!

What did make this round of babysitting even more special...was the fact that it was the littlest's 3rd birthday! So we did go out of our way to spoil him a little bit more.
Buzz was a huge hit!
We swam and ate...and when it was time for lunch, we had our own little birthday party....just the five of us...
We then decorated eggs for Easter...
And then spent the rest of the day playing, eating, colouring in, watching TV...
And of course being babysat at your Uncle and Aunties house means only one thing...as much ice-cream as you like...and KFC for dinner {to be honest...not sure who was more excited me or the kids}...and cake for dessert!
Bath time and then bedtime...
Another day that reminds how lucky I am...we love these boys endlessly...
And to our Adam boy...
How lucky we are to have you in our lives...our family would not be the same without you....
Happy 3rd Birthday!
You are so very loved...

I can just imagine these boys parents, the day you said you were moving back up north - and how they must have been doing a silent dance of JOY on the other end of the phone when you told them! Nice to be near family so that you can "spoil" them like this ;)

Lovely pics, I see you really enjoyed the opportunity there is nothing like taking pics of kids and when they are as big as mine - forget it! I hate that.

great photos! I bet their parents love the pics you take. I wouldn't be surprised if they are framed, hanging on the wall... very real and beautiful. Lucky aunty!
