In absolute awe.

It has been a whole three days since the U2 concert...and I am still in complete awe.

There are seriously no words to describe what we saw. I knew it was going to be good...but nothing, absolutely nothing prepared me for this concert. And no pictures {especially the ones from our 'muk en druk' and our phones} can truly capture the night.

But I did try...so here are a few hundred or so pictures...from the time we left home till the early hours of Monday morning...
Tailgating was in full force at the stadium...
Then it was the long walk to the stadium...still cannot get enough of seeing the 'Calabash'
And then we saw it....the stage...surrounded by 98 000 people...
I cannot describe to you how it felt to hear all of those people scream when the four of them came out...and how it felt to hear all of those people sing along to their songs...
98 000 people, the greatest band in the world...without a doubt one of the most incredible nights of our lives...

It was undoubtedly the best concert (sorry Robbie!)however, the Park&Ride from Northgate made it VERY stressful!

Awesome! Awesome! We saw them on Glasgow last year and even though it was on a smaller scale it was still the most awesome concert I've ever been too!

I just love the pictures you took of the concert, the stage and everything else. You sure do have a good "muk & druk" and cellphone cameras cause these photos are the best I've seen so far.
Such an awesome stage.
Glad to see you've enjoyed yourself.
