A great innings.

When I joined the organisation that I currently work for in 1998...there was only one department I wanted to work with...the sponsorship department. For one reason and one reason only....cricket. You see the company I work has been a major sponsor of cricket in South Africa...and I love cricket.

In 2004, I finally made it there...I was privileged to be able to be part of the team that looked after a part of the cricket sponsorship. And what a ride it was...

After fourteen amazing years, the organisation will be ending our relationship with cricket...and last night we all got to say goodbye.  Not only are our National Team leaving for the Cricket World Cup today, but it was a chance for everyone who had a small part to play to say goodbye.

It was one incredible, amazing night. The function was held at the spectacular Randlords...no words can  describe this venue. Situated in Braamfontein, in the heart of the Joburg CBD...it really feels like you are in a movie. I tried to take as many pics as I could....but I was using my little 'muk en druk'...so please, please excuse the quality of these pics...
After sunset the view came alive...oh how I love this city!
We got to spend the evening with our National Cricket Team, old colleagues from way back when, reminisce about the old days...and to top it off be entertained by one of South Africa's best bands...Prime Circle. Oh what a night!
I will forever be honoured to have played a small part in this great sponsorship, it is without a doubt one of the highlights of my life...and what made it perfect was the awesome team of people I got to work with.

It's very sad to say goodbye...but what fun we've had...

Forever Proteas.

Hayley! Awesome photos. Your framing of the shots is stylish and your photo layouts are always crisp and sharp. Sounds like it was a great party!

It looks beautiful!!! And I must admit I'm a bit jealous, I am a HUGE cricket fan! Very sad I that *it* took my DSTV away so I probably wont get to watch that many games! How totally awesome to have been involved in that!!!
