Decking the halls...

It's no secret how much I adore Christmas...it is with a doubt my favourite time of year. I love every single thing about it...and if I could I would leave my house dressed for Christmas the whole year round.

This is my new advent calendar. I bought the little elves clothes a while back, they were attached to a washing line, but I could never find a place to hang it. So this year, I cut it up and hang them from my wire boabab tree...just a little African touch....I think it came out quiet nicely...
And of course...my absolute favourite piece...my Nativity set. My Parents bought me the stable animals this year...love it so much. I actually get all teary when I put it out.

Isnt this the most magicial time of year...

This is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!

I love the advent calender idea. And your photos are beautiful. Glad you finally got your tree up.

I also like the candy in the bottle and and the lollipops. I think I am going to "steal" that idea from you.

I also put my tree up this weekend, but unfortuately that is where it stops. I don't have much else to go around it.

OH.MY.WORD!!!!
This could be straight out of a magazine... you have to get Matthew Mead's "Holiday" magazine - you will die and go to heaven when you see the photography and styling, it is pure Christmas inspiration from cover to cover!
I think I could move into your house right now and not change a thing - I absolutely adore your style :o)

gorgeous! I love everything on here!
my mom just got me two sets from the willow tree nativity the other day as a surpise. I blogged about it adn took pictures, I was just thrilled.
I was thinking about buying it myself because I wanted it so much but I love being able to think of how and where something came from whenever i get it out every year, now i can do that with this! I think I really want the creche and the stars and rest of the animals since i got the wisemen and 6 piece main set.
