Stress = Food

So, its confirmed...when I am stressed... I eat. Okay...I pretty much eat all the time anyway...but this stress is making it worse.

And the reason I am stressed...just a  little matter of major retrenchments that are about to go down at work. It's no secret, in fact its been in the news, which I think hasn't helped either.

So for the last two weeks, things have been pretty tense in the office. And if you think that over 15 000 people work at our head office alone...you can just imagine the atmosphere!
This week it has really hit hard, I think as we count down to d-day, its becoming more and more real.

Stress levels are going through the roof right now...which means I AM EATING LIKE A MAD WOMAN!

Wish me {and my grocery bill} luck guys...I think its going to get worse over the next few days.

If it is the same company I believe Friday is D-day. A few of my friends are in the same boat. Good Luck.

I am a stress eater! In fact I am an any-occasion eater - when I am happy/excited - I eat too!

But retrenchments may make me take PnP hostage and camp out in the baked goods isle!!!

Thinking of you!

Oh my dear. I am thinking of you. Have been through the same process myself - worked for a large alcohol company in Stellenbosch and the stress was unbearable.

You will be in my thoughts and prayers over the next few days. Much love see? xxxx

Thinking of you Hayley - at least by tomorrow you will KNOW one way or the other. The stress of the unknown is what drives most of us crazy.

Hi Hayley, I saw your link on "location central" and thought I'd pop in and check out your blog. Can't wait for kamersvol next Saturday, how great that it is also coming to Pta.

Only read this now... Hope the news wasn't bad for you but will hold thumbs regardless.

PS: It doesn't matter what or how much you eat, just follow anything with a glass of water and then you didn't have it! ;) This philosophy works wonders... :)
