That place.

Do you guys have a place that you absolutely love…that one that is special, one that feels like it is almost a part of you?

I do…a place that has almost become a part of my soul, one that I need to go back too every now and then {cheesy, I know!}

Mine is...The Kruger National Park.

We’ve been going there ever since I can remember, driving in my Dad’s little Opel Kadette, my sister and squashed in the back, all the way from Port Elizabeth. Spending holidays with our cousins and friends. Then when we moved to Joburg, and it became even easier to get there. We used to go at least once a year.

Moving to Cape Town, meant that we couldn't go…so we haven’t been in a few years.

And its now time…I need to get back to 'that place'.

So on Friday, we are packing our bags and heading for The Park for three long glorious days with the family.

It feels like I am going home…and I cannot wait any longer.

My husband loves the Kruger National Park too. We miss the wild life too. Oz has a total different kind of wild life, possums, koalas and kangaroos for starters. Have a great day

Mine is too far away too. It's the Pacific Northwest. Rocky Mountains, pine forests and just awesome grandeur. Have definitely lived past lives in that place. :)
