And on to day two, three and four.

Saturday morning saw us getting up at the crack of dawn...and hitting the wine farms early. We headed out to Rawsonville. First stop Opstal...for the most amazing breakfast and view. If you are ever out that way, it comes highly recommended.Next stops...Slanghoek Wine Estate and Jason's Hill.
The winemaker at Slanghoek, took us into the cellar to taste wine from the barrels. The boys were clearly ecstatic...as you can see from the grins on their faces...men are so easy to please.
The rest of the day was spent watching sport and having dinner at our favourite restaurant in Somerset West.

Sunday we popped in at Waterkloof Wine Estate. Oh my word, this place is amazing, you need to go up there, even if it is just for the views of False Bay. Spectacular.
And then it was off to Blouberg. For some reason whenever we are in Cape Town, we never head out this way, so it was a nice treat. We had lunch at the most awesome little restaurant, Onse Huisie, which is right on the beach.
Our last day there we managed to squeeze in breakfast at Hillcrest Berry Farm (as always), and then we headed in to Franschoek, to pop in at Haut Espoir Wine Farm. Rob, who owns the farm, we actually met on Twitter (don't you just love Twitter?), and we had the most amazing time on his farm. Thank you so much Rob!
One last stop at Waterford Wine Estate....for the wine and chocolate tasting...

And then we were headed home.

Thank you Cape Town for yet another amazing weekend...we never get tired of visiting you. But most importantly, thank you to our friends, for yet another weekend filled with memories, which we will never forget.

Hayley, you guys had such an amazing time! The photos are stunning and seeing them definately pulls at my heart strings somewhat. I love going to CT and being a tourist - you see everything through new eyes!

And yum to all the delish food, choc and wine you sampled and ate!
