under one week to go.

I am so behind in my blogging, that am actually writing this tomorrow, and posting it back today…. does that make sense….no….okay never mind.

It’s just under one week till election day, and I am very excited. I love voting. I have VERY strong opinions about voting. I personally think it’s something every one should do. I believe it’s your obligation to vote. But that’s my opinion.

Yesterday, for the first time, South Africans living abroad got to vote, very cool. Even though I am in two minds about whether they should be allowed to vote, but that is a whoooooooole other post in itself, and I am sure I will be taken out for what I say. But besides that, I still think it’s very exciting that there are still some ex-pats out there that are taking the time to go and vote for this country and still have a desire to want to be involved in its future. Makes me very proud.

So election fever has bitten. Who am I voting for? To be honest, I have no clue. I know who I am NOT voting for. Chances are I will vote like I have always voted, but this time around I am taking the time to find out what the other parties are standing for….and you never know I might just change my mind.

And you, are all of you voting?

I'm so surprised to hear you say you don't know who you're voting for. I find people mostly either in one camp or the other. You know the 'official' camp, and then the 'botox' one.

For me there is only one obvious choice. I vote for Botox! (I'm not being flippant here, I'm trying to write in 'code' so that you know who I mean without me having to say it at the risk of getting picked up by the search engines.

Hi Ness,

You make me laugh...the 'botox' one...what is up with her and her botox anyway?

Its the first time i have been undecided...usually i vot 'botox', no surprise there and I am sure I will again. I have just been wondering about a few other options this time round.

I would do Botox too if my face was going to be plastered all over the place!!

As far as I am concerned, a vote against the ruling party is all I am cared about. But I havent decided yet either.

And the ex-pat vote? Hmmm...yell at me but I think if you have left for greener pastures then you forfeit your right to have a say any longer. Otherwise come back here and stand alongside your vote.

If you are there temporarily, then I am all for your voting...
