my lucky friday the 13th.

Eight years ago, on Friday the 13th, I became the luckiest girl in the world.

I was 25, he was 28 and we had only known each five months. Yet, I had known from the day we met, that he was the one. It was totally opposite to my 'grand master plan', the one where I was going to only get engaged after knowing someone for at least three years, we would be engaged for another two years and then get married. How wrong I was...

On this day eight years ago, I said yes to the nicest, funniest, most amazing man I had ever met.

To my husband,

I am honoured and blessed to be your wife and best friend. Thank you for sharing your life with me.

Love

There's nothing like a great marriage!

Funny the way "the master plan" and "THE GUY profile" are almost never the way things work out . .

There must be a moral to tht story somewhere
*grin*

When I got married, somebody gave me this wise bit of advice for us husbands. It has proven helpful in the way I try to treat my wife:

"To keep the love brewing
In the marriage cup,
When you're wrong, admit it,
And when you're right, shut up!"

You see how easy it actually is David? If only all men had gotten this advice, what a better place this would be :-)

David, that`s some tough advice.

I`ll pretend I didn`t see it cos now I know Hayley will remind me of it very often.... :)
