To my Dad...

Yes, I know this is rather late, but its okay, I got to spend Fathers Day with my Dad - which you really start to appreciate when you live far away.

I know just about everyone says this, but I cannot tell you how lucky and proud I am to have a father like I do. The thing is, I don't think I am ever able to express just how thankful I am. Those two words 'thank you' just seem so little and meaningless every time I say them to him. I think its because he has done so much for my sister and I that, we are always saying thank you, and it starts to sound monotonous. But there is little more I can say...

So this is a tribute to my Dad...

Thank you for your love, your never ending advice, your patience, your complete understanding of whatever situtaion we are in. Thank you for helping us in any way you can. Thank you for loving our husbands like your own sons. Thank you for being the most amazing grandfather to those three little boys. Thank you for all the past memories and the memories to come. Thank you for putting us first and for being our friend. Thank you for loving our Mom. But most of all thanks for being our Dad. We love you...

My Sweetie, that was really stunning. I you you know this but I agree completely. Your (Mine too) Dad is the most amazing man I have ever met. I love him like my own dad and I am so thankful that God put both you and him on my path, I am eternally grateful for that.

Lots of love.

Aw, what a sweet post to your dad, and what an even sweeter comment from your husband. That is great.
And you're lucky, I love my dad, but we were never that close. So treasure what you have! Not everyone has that.
